Bridge Bench, 2008. Steel, wood
The Bridge Bench project was developed for a public exhibition in a park along the Hudson river in Brooklyn, NY. The bench was designed to replicate the acute angle between the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges while the supporting structure is built from growth pattern studies replicating the connection between the tensile structures and the river banks.
